I bet if Ras El Abed gets nominated for presidency it will win 99% of the votes with no cheating!
Whether you call it tête de choco, Whippets, Schokoküsse, or Mallowpuffs…it is everywhere loved :D .Here In Jordan and back in the 80’s there was not many imported chocolates so we were stuck with the local choices.. biscuits & ras el abed; therefore, my whole generation grew up with huge love for this desert in its very basic form and vanilla flavor!
Arabs named it Ras El Abed (Head Of The Slave) and it might sound racist but it is really not, use of these words in a friendly way is common in the middle east.
